Simms to OU?
NorthJersey.com, which I’m sure is wicked popular in North Jersey, may have the best recruiting non-story of the early 2010 class. The younger Spawn of Simms is leaving Louisville and he likes … OU, according to the always delicious “source familiar with the situation”:
According to a source familiar with the situation, the younger Simms will spend one year at El Camino before hopefully moving on to Oklahoma or Penn State for his final two seasons of eligibility. If he were to transfer directly to another Division I-A school, he would have to sit out the upcoming season.
Simms completed four of 10 passes for 39 yards and an interception (presumably to Teddy Lehman’s cousin) while backing up Hunter Cantwell. Apparently he doesn’t think he can compete with all of the other three-star QBs Louisville recruited away from Appalachian State, so he’s taking his ball and transferring to El Camino College in the Los Angeles area. You Simms family fans will no doubt remember that Steve Kragthorpe suspended him for the first four games of the season for the ubiquitous “violation of team rules.” I wonder if we’ll ever get to the bottom of that one.

Some Penn State folks already don’t want him. I think I’m going to jump on board there, too. Pronouns Derisive monikers for this high school phenom have ranged from “asshead” to “insufferable little shit of a prick” (he once taunted a high school opponent after every score, then for good measure flipped off their fans). So, after he completes his penance on the beaches of Southern California, if he can’t find another school, Stoops and Paterno can arm-wrestle and the loser takes Baby Simms.
Really, though, I don’t give a crap. This kid’s not coming to Norman. This poof piece just gave me an excuse to post the greatest Sooner pic evar.
