In what has to be the biggest non-surprise since predicting Snorter Luster would show up at an OU game wearing an aloha shirt and a beret, SI.com has named Blake Griffin its Player of the Year. This, of course, will be just the first of many POTY awards for Blake.
No other Sooners made the three-deep, although I half-expected Warren to get named to some lists before his freshman disappearance the past month. Vanquished OU opponents Stephen Curry (Davidson) and Eric Maynor (VCU) made the second team.
Blake was the only player from the Big 12 to make any of the three lists, which is also really no big surprise.
